MOBILE DATA SOLUTIONSThe deployment of the ASTRID digital TETRA network for Belgian police forces and fire brigades, led to an increase in the use of mobile data applications. AEG Belgium is recognized by ASTRID and The Federal Police for the supply, installation and maintenance of following Mobile Data Applications:
VPC-3 The AEG VPC-3 is a ruggedized PC for automotive use that can be integrated in any vehicle. AEG VPC-3 serves as a work station that interferes with the back office via all forms of communication. PANASONIC CF19 The Toughbook CF19 from Panasonic is recognized as Mobile Data Terminal. Both devices are validated for use on the ASTRID TETRA network. AEG Belgium develops also specific software applications for Mobile Data Terminals in Vehicles. Wireless data transmission can be realized not only with TETRA but also through GSM, GPRS, EDGE, UMTS WiFi, Bluetooth and other. |
